specs doenst mean that much to be honest...if you are looking for a basic description of the 6500:

midbass: superb, very powerful midbass

midrange: decent, nothing special, but again, good off axis response

highs: a bit forward sounding for my personal taste, but again, for a speaker of that price range its great.

overall: a good budget level component set wtih a lot of output capability and lends itself well to off axis set ups... i still wont put hte tweet in the stock location though

Just out of curiosity, where would you put the tweeters as opposed to stock location? A-pillar and or kick panel?

kick panel, or down low int he door...but kick panels doenst need to drill through the door so..

the stock location is just asking for lots of relatiely harsh highs..

if you are asking why kicks?

well, in the Z, it naturally sounds much better, being off axis and closer to the midbass, less harsh ness, less separation, better staging, easier isntallation, and staging still very high
