Question Subwoofer Install help/problem

I got my box from wicked cas the corner hatch. I got the sub mounted but couldn't get all the holes on enought lip to tighten them down tight. I get this sound from the sub that I can't explain and it doesn't sound right. Like a extra vibration. COuld it be from a air leak? I tired it out of the box at low volume to not mess it up and its not there at all. If i put silicon or make a ring/spacer from MDF will that help. Also my drill slipped and almost put a small hole in the rubber, it sounds fine besides the other sound. Will that affect the sub. I am not sure if it went thorugh or not. I can see where it hit tore the rubber a little. I can take a picture when i get home later.

Thanks for the help. I have done other subwoofers and never had this before. At first I thought it was the wire inside so i shortened it. That didn't help.

Thanks a lot.

use some foam gasket to make sure there is no leaks between the sub and the Box. It sound like you have a leak.
