i bought a short antenna from someone on here, but it wasn't an s2k antenna. i put it in my car and the reception is pretty nasty only on the station i listen to the most (most of the other major stations seem to work fine). do the s2k antennas have similiar issues? or is that one almost like stock? i'm thinking of just dumping this one and buying the s2k one.

Which shorty antenna did you get? I have Perrin and it gives great reception. S2K is a bit too big for my taste.

 

My stock reception sucked and my shorty attenna made no difference. I heard the S2K does an ok job but I don't the Z is a very radio-friendly car regardless.

 

Any antenna other than stock pretty much sucks as far as radio reception goes.

 

My S2K reception is fine.

 

S2K reception quality is comparable to stock, at least on my case... I think I now want something smaller though...

I hate radio stations and I wished they had a nice clean plug to just cover up the antenna hole.

 

the factory z antenna is short enough. how short do u wanna go??

 

the factory z antenna is really long... .at least on the 04's... not sure if they changed it for the newer models...
