My wires are different color than I have found on here....I have a black, black w/red stripe and a LIGHT BLUE or LIGHT Green wire(kinda color blind).
What is each one????

 

Where do you have those wires?

I'll assume in the "interior room lamp" housing.

The Red with Black stripe is the (+) power to all the lamps.

Black is the ground.

Red is the (+) to the vanity mirrors.

Purple with White and then Purple is door open signal wire from the BCM.

If you're looking for a source of power I'd grab the Red with Black for the (+) and the Black for the ground (-). Leave the Purple wire alone - especially if you're color blind!
