Is the detector being disassembled and placed in the mirror or are you just mirroring the display of the detector? Sorry for the noob question.

I'm sorry this post is pretty funny. He isn't putting the actually detector in the mirror, with the valentine 1 you can purchase an optional secondary display. It's called the Concealed display unit and that is what he is using to accomplish this, I don't know all of the steps but it is based off of using this:

These guys are right. I don't actually disassemble the detector. I use the remote display that the company offers. I highly doubt I could do a passport unless they offer a remote display.
