Correct, or an 04. Starting in 2005, they changed the design of the glass in the mirror.

Mine's an 04.5 and I didn't have the compass. It must have been included in the true 04's as they were essentially the same as the 03's.

You are correct. My mistake. 04.5 and up have the new glass piece.

the detector isnt in the mirror, just the concealed display (gutted concealed display rather) is in the mirror. Most just mount the main unit behind the passanger seat on the headliner.

In my experience, the detector seems to be just as sensitive mounted behind the passenger seat.

At this point I am unable to do anymore mirrors until I can figure out a way to laser etch the glass pieces myself. The person I had contracted out to do the glass, did a horrid job on the last batch of mirrors I sent, so I won't be using him anymore. If I can ever figure out a way to etch the glass myself, I will certainly be picking jobs up again.

Awesome job Acree! That looks sick!

Man I wish mine had the frequency labels like that. I'm used to it now, but I always felt that was something that was missing. Is that by any chance some kind of stencil that I could apply myself? (hint, hint)
