I just got the Kenwood dpx701 and an hd radio tuner. I wanted to plug my car computer in the aux input that the headunit has. I also need to plug my HD radio into the same aux input. Do I just need one of the RCA splitter things that just make one connection two, or do I need a box with a switcher on it?

You could use a splitter cable, but if you have both sources on at the same time, you will hear both. If you opt for a "Box type" splitter the switch will not allow both sources at once.
