I have a Scosche NN1497 install kit, and am trying to install my alpine stereo. it for some reason is not lining up with the factory brace. Do I have to do modifications to the braces (metal side braces) or do I have to modify the Scosche NN1497?

 

meh, just ended up buying the other brand. It just does nt want to fit with my alpine. Oh well.

 

Oh well.. got my rims on my car anyway lol....

I will try to do the stereo in the middle of the week..

Than it's off to somewhere to lower my car a bit...

EDIT** ugh.. will someone delete that other ID of mine (gpucci) I for some reason keep logging into that one instead of the one I normally use....

 

pyropete,,,have you tried the Metra dashkit....I think most would agree here,,they fit perfect with no problems.....?
