Cool, I really appreciate you taking the time to answer my posts! I would prefer the hatch actually, forward firing. Cardomain has the Polk Momo in an
8" at a good price and it's rated for a .35 cu. ft. box. I think that combo with a good amp would rock, suit me fine. I listen to rock, classic rock, blues, and heavy jazz, don't need to rattle out my fillings, just accurate, quick, tight bass :-)

Go to a store and try the fit before you order anything. I am pretty sure they would both fit but I'm not sure about forward firing.

 

Something is wrong with my sub, it is rattling really bad. Install is postponed until I can figure something out.

 

someone else did the same thing, but lined the space and lined the bracket w/ dynamat...may work for you too.
