Is there a unit that will work in both europe and the states?

I'm currently living in italy and need one that will work here and when I go back to the states. I called eclipse and their technicians were useless. Going to call Alpine sometime soon to see if they can help.

 

You might just want to get a Garmin.

 

^^ Yes, and as you say, Garmin will handle this (maps for USA and Europe in one device).
