Default OPTIMA MODEL #35 red top

hi,

I just recently bought a red top optima through a friend that gets them through his company. anywho...

He contacted an optima rep and he informed us that the red top model #35 is the 350Z specific battery.

I just wanted to come online and let everyone know that the Model #35 has the positive and negative terminal post in the correct location and it comes with a plastic height adapter so that dimensionally it fits height wise.

*** I did use a piece of rubber bicycle inner tube *** in order for the stock brackets to tighten down on the slightly skinner optima 35.

Works great! im reallly happy with it.

Ill post pics tonight when i get home. so far ive been running it for a week and all is good.

was it a height issue? cause this model #35 came with the height adapter that mounts on the bottom on the battery and raises it up to the right height..

kinda cool actually!
