I've watched a couple of Radar Guy videos about it. The GPS is really nice for marking known speed trap locations. Can't really say I'm ready to drop $500 on it just yet.

Since this is a new radar detector thread i thought id ask a easy question.. I live in OR and it rains alot here. Im looking into getting the V1. Do radar detectors not function correcly in the rain since there is water droplets in the air and things can refelect from them?

Have you ever seen a cop writing traffic tickets in the rain? They don't like to get out of the cruiser and get wet. But seriously, if a radar detector couldn't detect the signal, then neither could the radar gun.

Im in desperate need of a new detector, and plan to get either this or the v1. Hard decision. Im gonna wait until someone does a stealth install with this one.
