Its a lot easier than it looks. Just take a skinny *** flat head screw driver and pry from the bottom of the cig light area. Once that is a bit out pry from the sides. If you get enough opening from the top area just push out the cig lighter cylinder with another screw driver and the rest should be simple.

Probably a stupid question but is there any way the NAV DVD can play a movie DVD?
Sorry if it can already - just bought an 03 with Nav and haven't taken delivery yet!

I have an 08...its not much different then the 03-06 models, I found that the manual version of the 07-08 is allot like the previous version Z's auto trans...just get in there and feel around, that how everyone else learned, thats what I'm doing.

It should be the same procedure. Start with by lifting the shifter bezel undoing the screws under it then prying it from the top where the three gauges are. Undoing the wires, and there you go. If you want to take the part before the shifter off, there are two screws that need to be undone. You would have to move both seats forward to see them on the side, and just move it up! Lemme know if this helps, if not I can do a write up with pictures since I am getting ready to install a carpc with a new headunit.

Thats the whole dash. You have to take the middle console out to get to it.

Hey guys. It has been asked several times, but no one has answered it. So I would like to know. How do you take out the factory Nav unit out of a 06-08? Thanks.
