Quick Amplifier and Subwoofer Question.
Hey guys, just have a quick question on wiring a possible new setup I plan on getting. Well I have two Rockford Fosgate HX2 12" dual voicecoil 4ohm subwoofers, I currently power them with a RF P5002 subwoofer. I plan on picking up another P5002 amp. Now, my question is, after I get my next amp, to have a total of two amps, what is the best way to wire the amps to the subwoofers? The plan for me so far is to power each sub with their own amp.
Hopefully someone can help me out, on the wiring. Thanks guys, sorry if I'm asking a dumb question, but I always wanted to power each sub with as much as my wallet can afford :-p.

Well, what I wanted to really know, is the optimal wiring I should follow for one two channel amp powering one dvc 4ohm subwoofer. Should I hook up each coil to their own channel on the amp? Or should I bridge the channels on the amp then do whatever else on the sub connections?
P5002 Amp Specs:
125 W x 2 @ 4 Ohms RMS
250 W x 2 @ 2 Ohms RMS
500 W x 1 @ 4 Ohms Bridged RMS
HX2 12" RFR3112 Sub Specs:
Dual 2 ohm voice coil
RMS power 1000 watts
MAX power 2000 watts
I would bridge the amps to 500 watts to each sub wired in series to 4 ohms. It would be underpowering the subs a bit, but it would be your best option.
