nice.. looks pretty flush.. is that a 6.5" screen? otherwise not a fan of that shiney ****

cool, but from the pics it looks like hte top of hte trim ring isnt sitting flush as it should? and the left side of the dash center console isnt clipped in all the way? just curious

it almost seems a 03-05 kit was used to install in an 07?

I've been debating between this headunit and the Alpine IVA-W205.

How do you like all the adjustments and other controls on the pioneer?

did you use the brackets to mount off the factory radio or make your own

i almost swapped my D1 for the D3. The only thing I don't like is that the screen is not motorized. My D1 angles nicely. Congrats. The D3 has the badass Ipod Advanced functions.

which wire did you tap into for the reverse wire?

I bought mine about 1 yr 1/2 ago. I might end up switching later. i need a better iPod solution. I only saw a D3 in a box. Would love to see one in person. Maybe the screen not moving is a good thing.

i can't say it is better

just preferance

i just like the the fixed screen

i rather just load a disc straight in or dvd etc and not wait for a screen to fold down and then fold up

kinda pointless

but again both units are super

unless you have a camera you don't need the reverse wire.. but there are couple a threads about the harness on hte drivers side next to the seat belt

just for quick reference, though this is a crappy pic, and its a D2 (same overlal dimension except its slightly spaced up to allow the face to come down better), but you get the point of hwa ti mean how an 06 SHOULD fit




and here is what the 03-5 kit looks like with a D3



so to me it looks like an earlier kit was used onthe 06, if this was done by a shop i would deinfleyt have them fix it

Pioneer ipod ready adapter

A 03-05 kit was used to install it, because I wasn't able to get my hands on a 07 kit. I hopefully will be getting one by the end of the month. Hopefully...

you just need hte 06+ kit from metra:

plenty of them on ebay as well

heck all you need is the ring, i have a ring from an 06 kit that i did a single din in, do you want it? if so, just pay for hte shipping and its yours

hey i have an 07 and i have the iva-w200 from my old car do i need the antenna adapter i couldnt find it on crutchfield. thanks

Nice! I just ordered it, hopefully it will be here in a week, and I will be headed back to the shop to get it fixed.

I will post up some pictures of it when it's done.

if you have an 07 350Z you will not need an ant adapter...if you have G35 6you will

i have an 07 non bose and i cannot find anyone that has the stereo wiring harness kit for an 07, is the 07 harness kit the same as the 06?

and I WONT need a antanna adaptor for the AVIC-D3?

ok so everyone is positive i dont need the antenna adapter cause im gonna go return it tomm bastards charged me 15 bucks
