cool, but from the pics it looks like hte top of hte trim ring isnt sitting flush as it should? and the left side of the dash center console isnt clipped in all the way? just curious

it almost seems a 03-05 kit was used to install in an 07?

I've been debating between this headunit and the Alpine IVA-W205.

How do you like all the adjustments and other controls on the pioneer?

i almost swapped my D1 for the D3. The only thing I don't like is that the screen is not motorized. My D1 angles nicely. Congrats. The D3 has the badass Ipod Advanced functions.

I bought mine about 1 yr 1/2 ago. I might end up switching later. i need a better iPod solution. I only saw a D3 in a box. Would love to see one in person. Maybe the screen not moving is a good thing.

i can't say it is better

just preferance

i just like the the fixed screen

i rather just load a disc straight in or dvd etc and not wait for a screen to fold down and then fold up

kinda pointless

but again both units are super

just for quick reference, though this is a crappy pic, and its a D2 (same overlal dimension except its slightly spaced up to allow the face to come down better), but you get the point of hwa ti mean how an 06 SHOULD fit

and here is what the 03-5 kit looks like with a D3

so to me it looks like an earlier kit was used onthe 06, if this was done by a shop i would deinfleyt have them fix it

The installation kit
The wire harness
The antenna adapter cable
Pioneer AVIC-D3
Pioneer ipod ready adapter

A 03-05 kit was used to install it, because I wasn't able to get my hands on a 07 kit. I hopefully will be getting one by the end of the month. Hopefully...

Nice! I just ordered it, hopefully it will be here in a week, and I will be headed back to the shop to get it fixed.

I will post up some pictures of it when it's done.

Thanks again!
