Unhappy So is our stereo that bad? :-(

So I had my 07z for two month now and my stereo ia already acting up on me. When listening to tunes with higher levels of bass I hear a cracking sound in one of my speakers. Whats up with that? :-(

Will the dealer cover it under warranty?

My Bose sucks! Sounds like @hit and the head unit has been replaced 2 times. Now my sub cuts in and out.

Sucks, I really want the leather and 6 cd in the touring but I know im going to replace the whole sound system, I just hate to add a cheesy looking headunit into the car and ruin the flow of the interior. Right now my accord has all the audio integrated into the dash it looks great. Think i might go with the enthusiast =/, no point in spending 3k on leather seats

I dont have the bose system either, but imo it sounds like crap. A good component set will definitely help.

my regular stock system sucks so bad. I have been in a chevy malibu that sounds atleast 8x better. That's my next mod, a whole new sound system. I wonder if its just bad sound staging or just crappy speakers.

Bose in the car is a joke. The stock stuff is even worse.. it sounds like speakers from a 1993 toyota tercel and I know what that sounds like lol. Upgrade to a set of good components in the front, and get a set of speakers for the back. If you want to make it sound even better, then get components for the rear as well. I think my Kappa perfects produce more bass than the stupid bose woofer. You can always amp the components to get really good sound out of em.

I have the Bose in my 2005. I think it is a decent system. It is nowhere close to what can be done with an aftermarket system, but it doesn't sound bad either. When I was car shopping I test drove an 07 base model and I thought the standard stereo was awfull.

Before I got my car I was planning on replacing the system, but I dont really feel that the work to do it would be justified at this point. I already have all the stuff from my last car (HU, subs, amp, wiring) but I am pleased enough with the bose.

well my left rear (behind driver) speaker went out today....how sh*tty is that..no sound where i need it most. The rear speakers are the worst but the front sounds decent.

I have the touring with the bose. One thing I noticed is that you can crank the system on full blast and it does not peak or pop the speakers... at least it doesnt do it in my z. But I like the system because I feel that it is very strong and clear sounding, almost live. I think it lacks a bit in the low end, but in a way I like being able to crank it up without worrying about the door speakers popping due to excessive bass.

Bose and Stock stereo's are horrible. And, all will give problems if given the time and use. Any upgrade to headunit and speakers will make a world of difference and save you a lot of hassle. JMHO

it should be under warranty but replacing it with another will make little or no difference. save your time and invest in an aftermarket stereo systems

You guys make it seem so much worse than it really is. My friend has a complete aftermarket sound system. It just sounds better louder thats all. I dont feel like blowing my ears out. It sounds pretty decent at regular volume. Although I have to say I'm at my second head unit because of fading problems. I hope it doesnt happen again.

I just replaced my Bose system... Its decent but not anywhere near an aftermarket. My DLS components alone blew the Bose system out of the water.
