Default Amp question..

Ok guys/gals,

I have become completely frustrated on how to power my 2 10" Kicker CVR w/dual 2ohm coils. They will be mounted in Zenclosure's dual understrut box with an amp rack.

I want to see if you guys can help me out here.

I need to get your opinions on amp/wattage/brand, how big of a cap(if needed), and how large of a power/ground I need. Now I will be getting some components in the front eventually, so ill be getting a 4 channel amp that will have to match this amp.

Thanks again guys!

i dont know if this is a overkill but you should be good with a 1200.1 kicker amp.

you need about zero guage wire and a cap its up to you .. i personally i think they work at all but i have a one a well..

Lots of good choices on amps. eD Nine.1 would fit the bill.

My bud just told me that this amp is one of the best he has ever heard. He says it never heats up and is under-rated in power. I think it looks insane.

Stick with the kicker amp and if you can afford it go for the SX not the KX models(no ZX). I'm running two 12" JLw6v2 off of the SX 1200.1 . The amp is pure digital for a cleaner sound and was bench tested at 1500 watts. I would go 0 gauge wire to run both amps instead of two lines. Don't get me wrong the KX are nice also(and less expensive) but the SX give a lot of info on the digital display(temp, voltage from battery, ect.)
