CD in disconnected HU
Had a Kenwood DNX7100 NAVI installed yesterday and totally forgot that I had a cd in the stock 07 Bose HU until today.
Does any one know how to take a CD out of a HU that has been disconnected (no power)?

Remove the small phillips head screw at the rear edge of the top cover and use a small flathead screwdriver to carefully pry the metal fasteners for the top cover plate loose. Working from rear edge pry the top meal cover off the HU which will expose the CD drive mechanism.
There's a white plastic arm near the center of the back edge. This is the normal eject mechanism. If you move the end of it toward the front of the HU, it will push against the edge of the CD and the CD will come out of the slot just enough to get a grip on it IF the clamping mechanism is already released.

If the CD won't move, that means the clamp is still down and you will have to find a way to release it.
After the CD is out, snap the top cover in place, push the fasteners back into place as needed and put the screw back in.
The other option would be to take it to a Best Buy (or other) car audio installation center / shop and ask them to use their bench power supply to apply power and hit the eject button. They should be able to determine the pin outs for the power and ground connections by looking at a Nissan wiring harness adapter which most places should have in stock. If you get there early when they first open and are not busy, they might do it for free or at worst charge you $25 or so.

I put a CD in without it being powered up just to see what would be involved...
