A Scotchlock connector is the easiest way to splice into the wire. The easiest place to intercept the wire is just off the parking brake switch which is inside the console just above the base of the lever that is the parking brake. Most systems have a software switch in their set-up to toggle between negative and positive logic on the brake - it's negative IIRC in the Z.
