Install with FANS
So yeah my first post.
Question is does anyone have any installs with FANS showing? I am about to buy a ZR and I want to get the amps in the glove box and think they would probably run pretty hot without any kind of cooling.
I only plan on 1 sub in the rear behind the driver and then components in some kicks in the front. No rears.
I am thinking of MAYBE the Avic-3.
Thanks
Ryan

You shouldn't really need fans as long as you have enough airspace around the heatsinks. If your planning on going buck nutty with the amp setup, some fans would be a worthwhile investment though. for what your describing I would think fans would not be necessary.
Remember heat rises, so if you installing into a confined space with little or no room for the heat to rise (or if your mounting an amp upside down like me) fans are a must IMO. Before my latest project I had a Memphis Audio 16-MCA300 running bridged in the glove box behind the passenger seat with no issues. I was using two JL 10w3v2's in a JL stealthbox.
