As much as I would like to have Simplicity in Sound do my install, as my ZR is also my daily driver I simply cannot work out the logistics. I know that Bing does outstanding work and his attention to detail is second to none (I have looked at his gallery a number of times), but I came to the conclusion that I need to find a local installer. Thank you again Bing for your input and your suggestions.

Here is the system I am looking at:

Pioneer Premier DEHP690UB headunit
Zapco I 450 amp
JL 10W3 sub
MB Quart RUF216 components
Wire kit for the amp
Dash kit
Wire harness
Fabricate enclosure for the sub (mounted in the original Bose location)

The only speakers I have not selected are the rears. I was thinking of some Pioneer Premier coaxials.

So without the rear speakers the quote came to $1770.00 installed. My sound guy was originally thinking a JL amp but instead recommended the Zapco based on sound. Your collective thoughts would be appreciated....my appointment is for next Wednesday.

 

You should at least buy his kickpanels....and give them to the installer.

Kicks sound that good, and don't take up that much space. They will blow away the door locations.
