Default Alpine 9856 is going to make my speakers sound BAD?

I read that hooking the headunit up to Bose factory speakers make them sound like JUNK. I've read it a couple of times so now I am worried. I just ordered this unit last night and I have some other stuff (comps, amp, and sub) on the way.

I wasn't planning on replacing the back speakers(sub will go away for amp instal) so is it going to be ok to leave them connected with the Alpine?

Also am I going to have much trouble with the headunit instal myself? I haven't done one before but I'm pretty good with directions (crutchfield and the DIY's here). Crutchfield is sending me the mounting hardware and install directions.

Thanks for the answers and help guys/gals.

the hu will make it sound better, but aftermarket speakers will sound better with the new hu...install is not that hard just read and reread and take your time

actually, if you have bose, and just do a headunit,

if you use a adapter to adjust the line level out form the new headunit, you will get slightly clearer sound maybe but overall volume and power will be reduced.

if you DONT use an adapter and just use a wiring harness to wire it up, it will be a bit more porewful but will feature a constant HISS on the background, regardless of volume...

so in my opinion, it basically sound slightly worse with just a new HU on a bose system...
