I know that there are a few Zs with the radar mounts on the rear view mirror posts. I would like to see pics of the base model mirror with the flip dimmer sporting a radar mount. I'm in the market for a V1 and would like to mount it on the mirror post. Please give details on the power install also. Thanks in advance. Search did not come up with any pics of the base radar mount.

 

Remove one of the headliner mounting clips near the rear hatch and use the visor clip to mount your Valentine One with that clip at the rear of the headliner. Running the phoneline power cord under the headliner and down the A pillar you can use the remote display mounted on the steering column to give you a 'stealth' display that is easily viewed. Further, you can get the remote audio/on/off switch to let you control the unit so that when Mister Police Officer walks up to the window you have the unit turned off and completely invisible. We have used this set-up on our Z and our G with excellent reception on our Valentine One's and no tickets yet!
