Default RCA cables with ground wires

I'm using MOnster interconnect cables with the lil strand of ground wire coming out of it. My question is.. do I just twist it all together and ground it? Also can I do the same for the amp side.. twist the ground cables together and just tap it into the grounding tab of the amp? Or can I just leave the grounding wires alone?

No no, I'm not talking about that wire.. I'm talking about a bare metal wire that comes out the side of each of the rca head. It's kinda like how some aftermarket sparkplug wires have the bare ground wire coming out of it...

The bare copper wire coming out of the rca plug is indeed a drain wire that you will ground on the HEADUNIT SIDE ONLY! grounding both sides can/will cause a ground loop and introduce noise into the signal instead or draining away from the amplifier.

The rca is not coming from the HU.. it's coming from sound processor going to the amp.. so can I just connect those bare wire to the negative wire of the processor unit?

Oh and I can't seem to find any pics of the rca I'm talking about.. sorry

Correct, I guess I should have said to ground the wire to the chassis on the SOURCE side of the RCA cable(s) meaning headunit, EQ, processor, etc.

The wire in the middle is not a ground but a signal on lead. You connect it to the remote input on your amps. My knu konceptz wiring had it.
