Hey I'm looking to upgrade my Infiniti kappa perfects I have in my Z but im so confused on what to get cause there are so many speakers out. I know I would like to go with something more high end but nothing that would break the bank. I'm looking for something with a smooth rich sound. I looked into Morel, Focal, Oz Audio, Boston Acoustics, CDT, ect...but no local shop around my area carries anything high end like that. I was going to order them online but I havent heard any of them in a shop or a car before. Has anyone tried any of these speakers before and what would be a good set up. My amps I'm running are Helix also.

 

Theres a set of MB Quarts for sale in the Mid-Atlantic Section. IMHO they sound great

 

i got 2 pairs of Focal K2P's off ebay for about $530 a pair. They sound very smooth and very full. I have not heard the others you mentioned in person but the ones i do have i am 110% satisfied with.

 

I would travel if I had to. Maybe a friendly member here can hook you up with an audition.
