Default Laser jammer that works.

Hello,

First off, I don’t work for any one that sells these or manufactures these. For Christmas last year my girl bought me a Blinder X-treme M320 (I believe is the model number) I posted it a while back with pictures and stuff but I’m too lazy to link it, so do a search if you want to see it on the car. I also did a you tube video that shows the control switch and mounts among other things – if you search “strobe 350z” you’ll find it cause it’s the first one.
Well, it’s supposed to jam any and all laser guns that are currently out and being used. After I had this installed I always wondered if the damn thing worked. I happen to meet a nice officer that was off duty at a bikini contest last weekend. Any way we get to talking about speed traps and such, I tell him about the jammer and he doubts it would work. So I get his number and we arrange to meet when he is working. He checks out a laser gun and waits for me in his “spot” around interstate 95 in MD, we are on the phone the entire time so he can know when I coming.
(RANGE about 1500 Feet)
With no cars in front of me he spots my car and shoot his device, my detector goes off and my jammer goes into active mode (loud siren and red light=active mode) to his surprise and mine he says “holy XXXX man, I can’t get a reading on you” I say what the display say, he says “absolutely nothing”
I say, shoot me all over, he says, “I am, I get nothing.. wtf..”
So I tell him to keep trying until I pass him, he finally gets a reading as I PASS his patrol car in the median
Pretty sweet imo,

well they make a kit that has 4 transmitters, if you want to cover the rear. or if you have a truck you put all 4 up front.

i figured since most traps are done from the front id just go with the 2.

Yes Blinder works and that should come as no surprise; it's among the top lidar jamming brands out there. But it isn't the best though; that title still goes to LPP. Guys Of Lidar did several tests with many jammers, including those 2 and Z3. LPP always came on top. You Tube is full of videos of their tests, shot through the viewfinder of the laser gun.

sorry but i have a question.. now if your speeding and the cop shoots his radar at you and gets no reading, CAN he still pull you over? Or better yet, will he bother still to pull you over?

I personallt use the Escort ZR3 system. it has worked perfectly for me. It did not get a 5 start rating but 4 1/2 and intergration with my escort 9500i radar detector was just fine for me.

I have the Beltronics RX75Plus and it has a rear jammer that mounts on the rear license plate, besides the front ones.

that wouldn't have helped with my speed trap situation. Porky gave me a speeding ticket despite me going 63 in a 65 and he didn't even attempt to clock me

Drive up and down I95 at 100 MPH just for fun. After all you are invisible.

Yes. They can do visual identification as well or at the very least give you a reckless driving ticket. So laser jammers aren't meant for 30mi-above-limit flybys in front of LEOs.

I use the same system and tested it with a friend of mine ( that just happens to be a officer). If they are persistant enough, they will get the speed but it still warns the driver and gives you a chance to slow down in time.

I have been very happy with mine !

Need to check you state laws as laser jammers are illegal in many states.

I researched laster jammers a while back (a month or so) and I never saw or heard of the LPP. Laser pro park seems to be pretty affordable too. Guys of lidar 2007 tests seem to have the laser interceptor on top but its almost 800 dollars. however, if i can know that this will work for more than a year and equipment wont bypass this in the near future, i think i might be able to justify the price. they JUST got laser around here for Louisiana State Police. I guess now is as good of a time as ever to start my research up again.

I take it back. I just looked up the GOL tests and found the LPP. It definitely does not appear to be the best jammer. I am personally waiting on the Laser Interceptor. Hopefully it doesn't let me down

Not sure if it has beeen said in this post but:

Radar and laser detectors are legal in MOST states; They are illegal in
Virginia and Washington DC.

Radar jammers are the only equipment illegal in ALL states.

The Antilaser G8 is the pretty much the same thing as the LPP. The LPP is a clone of the Antilaser G8 and is more expensive, and doesn't have the performance of the g8.

Anyway you'd most likely need to front diodes to assure its effectiveness... and the thing is still like 700 dollars.

Blinders are ok for cars like the 350Z and they are much cheaper. Personally I'm going to keep my blinder and only get a new jamemr if and when the laser interceptor comes out.

The LI is pretty much the same price as a AL G8 and it's way better.
