LEOs overwhelmingly use laser or POP2 now. But that isn't the point. David was being sarcastic. Jammers don't make anyone invisible; visual identification of speed by a trained LEO is equally admissable in court.

That ticket would be outrageously easy to fight in court.

I won't go out looking for a speeding ticket by observation... but if I get one, I'll let you know how fighting it went. Deal?

Todd (is sure he'd come back with good news)

Any concrete update on the laser jammer front?

I can't find a single site with unbiased reviews. Unbelievable cat fighting by vendors.

Laser Interceptor testing has only been reviewed once and never repeated with a retail unit.

Laser Pro Park is $800 but everyone says they are good units (now that firmware has been updated).

Blinder new models have not been tested that I could find.

What to do?

I just don't think these kinds of things work out in NY. I have been to court numerous times were the cop gives a speeding ticket not based on a laser but by judgment. All Suffolk county cops are required to take a Speed Evaluation Course. They can judge how fast your going and thats good enough in court!

Yeah I know aint that some ****.

I am active on radardetector.net and have participated in three different "tests" of jammers and laser guns. Others on the board have started calling us the "CFL group" (central florida) but we are just a bunch of guys that wanted to see how our different setups perform against different police equipment.

http://www.radardetector.net/forums/...t-archive.html

The links to our tests, complete with videos, are in the second post of the thread above.

Thanks for the link! I want to get one for my NISMO and I am leaning towards the LI since it is a diode based over the cheaper Blinder LED based ones.

Oh one other thing, you think there is a way to get rear protection on our cars since we are limited on where to mount anything on the rear? Your video pretty much sold me on LI.. hehehe.....

Two LI's on one plate seem to cover every car I have seen them mounted on.

Which video were you talking about? (there are a lot)

I wonder if you could swap diode based sensors onto a Blinder set-up??

I'm using the Blinder Xtreme M20 and it works, proven. Also my friend use it too and proven it also. We got tag couple times already, but none stopped.

Also, my other friend is a cop and he tested on my car as well. Work like a charm.
