Default Valentine 1 question

I'm about to purchase the V1 today, I have a question, on ebay I see people selling their V1s, and a lot of them have different versions, version v1.7, v1.8, so if I buy a brand new detector, say from either ebay or valentine itself, which version will I get ?

depends on the ebay auction but when your buying brand new from a store of some kind you should be getting the latest, but even then the older versions can get updated you just have to go on the v1 website and put in the id number

Better to purchase new, V1s are overpriced on ebay.

p.s. call V1s direct # and tell them you want a returned/refurbished unit. THey come with full warranty as new and include everything you would if you bought a new unit. Sometimes they are out of refurb'd units. But they are $350 vs. $400 new.
