I am contemplating purchasing an enthusiast model Z (mainly because I do not want the BOSE in the touring model). I'd like a nice but simple (read semi-inexpensive) setup so here's my idea. A "decent" HU (probably Pioneer / Alpine or Panasonic). The HU MUST have an IPOD hookup and be able to use the steering wheel controls. 4 infinity Kappa 6.5" 2 ohm speakers (these are from my G35 sedan) 1 pair coax, 1 pair components. An infinity BASSLINK II w/ optional the 4 channel amp (can drive the 2 ohm kappas). This would be in the BOSE sub compartment w/ the 4 channel amp driving the Kappas.

I already know this will not "Hit Hard", that is not what I'm looking for. I'm looking to improve the sound quality of the base radio, keep everything looking original, and control an IPOD.

I already have the Kappas, but would have to purchase the HU & Basslink II.
