Default some ???'s about bass...

hi all, im getting a Z in a couple weeks and had a question for those who have put at least one 10 inch sub in the hatch...

Does the Z tend to have any or much body vibration that can be heard while your inside the car from the bass??

and to anyone that has one 10 in particular, is this enough bass for most people that would want to keep the use of their hearing??

i have one 10 in my 325ci and its enough for me, but i see so many people on here with the zenclosure double 10 or double 12 box and i wonder if its really necessary??

thanks in advance

well...if one ten inch is enough in a bigger car, what makes you think you'll need more in a smaller car? Bass is all directly related to the space that it's used in...since you already mentioned that one is enough for YOU, then why get 2 because EVERYONE ELSE has 2?

i was thinkin maybe since there isnt much trunk space the boxes are made smaller and the subs dont get enough air to move??? or not... i guess its not the best question...

but about the vibration??

I currently run a 10 inch bass tube... which i plan on replacing with a single 10 in a stealth box from wickedcas. I like it, a single 10 inch is more than enough for me. It vibrates the car when I turn it all the way up, but even with the mirrors moving way too fast to be useable, the car doesn't make that sweet cheap honda hatchback metal on metal buzzing noise the ricers do. It's just pure sound.

Depending on what you want in sound, one 10" (good one that is: DLS, etc) will be plenty for you. My 10" DLS was great, but I wanted more low bass so I started experimenting. Otherwise I would have been very happy with just the single 10.

I have a single 10" JL 10w3v2. Currently running around 275rms. It sits under my rear strut bar and it is enough bass that you can still hear your radio and have some good bass thumping. The common thing i see is the 350z rear mirror in the car can rattle with a good amount of bass. When i turn up my radio, the bass hits nice and rattles my rear-view! LoL... Other than that, nothing else really rattles. The car is pretty much solid...

And there is no rattling of the trunk outside of the Z, like you hear on old accords or altimas (with my amount of power)
