has anyone installed an aftermarket \ doubledin in a g35? reason for asking is I'm thinking of getting a g and I dont think I could deal with haveing a stock head unit. if anyone has done it pics would be nice.

so it can be done with a pioneer avhdvd 6800? just wondering before i trade my z in on one. after the install does it look like a factory fit . and will i have to relocate any thing? and what if it has navi can it still be done?

 

go tmy site listed in my sig, there should be one or two G35s with 6800s instealled, i think one with dual 10w7s in a white trunk, the other with an amp rack integrated on the back of the seat, one os a 04, the ohter 06, both of htem have 6800s

Locally in Houston it has been done several times. The parts are pretty fragile, but as long as your installer knows what he/she is doing then you'll be fine.
