Does anyone have a link to a XM satallite receiver installion on a Z. I got confused by looking at the installation manual provided. For example, I dont know how to get power to the sat. reciever. Does it coem through the IP-Bus connection from the head unit? These are the type of stupid questions I need answers to.

 

Denver350Z,,,,honestly, I havent installed my sirius set up yet,,,but I imagine the power supply would be the same. Is there not a "pin" type plug that has the power and ground connection wires...Should be "red-power" and "black-ground"? That is where you will supply power to the receiver unit. You can tap the power supply behind the headunit and ground it on chasis. make sure the ground is free of paint and makes a good connection.
