Default AVIC - D3 Install Questions

I just installed this unit myself on Sunday (yesterday) using the 350ztech instructions, they were great. Even did the bypass, However, I've been searching but still have a couple of questions.

1. What's the best position for the GPS antenna?
a. in cubby
b. on top of dash
c. under rear strut brace?

2. Is their a closer location to tie into the reverse wire than the rear trunk as in the photo posted by other member? In other words is their a wire near the gear shifter? I want to avoid having to remove more panels.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Close this thread, I installed these items last weekend. It's not that difficult. The Z's panels just pop off, as long as you do it in the correct sequence. Thanks to all for posting pictures.

I put my GPS Antenna under the dash just to the front of the 3 gage cluster. Never have had an issue
