DVC wiring- NO Bass??
Well, I just got my Zenclosures box the other day (thanks Mike 
), but am getting NO SOUND whatsoever from the subs!?? 
It can't even be that the subs are blown because there is absolutely nothing in terms of sound/movement coming from them! RCA connection seems fine, amp remote turn-on good, power, ground check check, etc.. I think I may need to take out the subs to redo the wiring, but was hoping I wouldn't have to. Here's the situation and please feel free to chime in with whatever you guys think might be the problem:
I bought the sub enclosure for 2x10s (separate chambers). I was a little unsure about wiring because both Crutchfield and Alpine seem to say that one sub should be wired to the other AND THEN to the amp as I need a 2-ohm load TOTAL going into the amp. The subs are dual 2-ohm DVC subs, but since they are in separate chambers (and please excuse the horrible PAINT work below) I thought each could be wired individually and then brought together and connected to the amp externally instead of wiring one to the other and then just a single (+/-) to the amp like in the pic. I dunno what to do now, and don't want to keep mounting/dismounting the subs from the box to figure this out? Help!!!

so you have two dual 2-ohm subs and you want to show the amp a net 2-ohm load? You can run the 2 positives and 2 negatives to the amp if you need to, it won't impact the load seen by the amp. Just make sure that the drivers are wired properly.

Thank You! That's exactly how I have it wired now but I have yet to see anybody else display it like this?? The only thing I forgot to do is combine the inside +/- for each sub together. Is that step absolutely necessary or did I damage something in the setup by not doing so already? Thanks!

No, you didn't damage anything..... but you didn't complete the circuit... which is why you don't have any sound.
