Question about this amp/sub combo.

...I should think so. Whats the RMS and peak ratings on that sub?
Just my two cents here, but I can think of alot better subs to get in the price range of the w3. I think that JL is a big waste of money, if you dont go for highend w6 or w7.

The RMS on each sub is 300 watts and 600 watts max. I know that there are many other good subs out there within the price range, but I got a really good deal on a dual zenclosure box. I am also getting a very good deal on the W3's. These are the V3's not the V2.

oh alight I think that amp will be fine. Go for it. Post pics of the install, good luck!
EDIT: crap I didnt read the entire first post. No It wont power both subs. Youll need another amp. Or a two channel

1 500/1 will be sufficient for 2 10w3v3 subs. Each sub will see 250 watts which is well within the optimal range suggested by JL Audio. the 50 watt difference between 250 watts and 300 watts MIGHT yield a 0.5 dB drop in sound level (inaudible by most living organisms)

You could...most companies rate their amps at peak wattage and not RMS, so I was assuming the amplifier he mentioned only pushed around 200 watts RMS and 500 peak. I guess I'm just always afraid of under powering speakers, then you will just wind up buying another amp after you melt the one you have anyway. Ive always been of the logic "spend more money now, spend no money later."
