Default Stock Antenna Reception

I'm still running the stock antenna mass but plan on going with the s2000 for looks. But even alot of guys here with the s2000 antenna say that reception still isnt that great. I was thinking of going with a different antenna altogether and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions in mind. I was looking at this one here.

Alvinpv, you wouldnt happen to remember the brand do you? As far as a plug I've got two choices, get the s2000 antenna and use it for looks,or shave it and repaint it. I work in a bodyshop so doing the work and stuff wouldnt cost me much as long as I pay for paint. But either way the stock antenna reception sucks. My 01 honda prelude that i use for a daily driver has a little rectangle antenna that I think is integrated into those lines on the back glass and I've never had a problem with reception. I think I might just go ahead and order that one off of crutchfield and be the guinea pig. I guess once I get it then I'll worry about where to mount it.
