Default Need help with an interesting question, video related.

Hey guy's, my bad on not being too specific on the title of this thread, but I'm drawing a blank on what it should be, onto my problem!

As alot of people here, I have installed the Fahrenheit 7" screen into my '03 cubby. Well, I was doing a little traveling a few days ago, and I stopped into an audio install shop, and was looking around. I was talking to an installer, cool guy, and he was showing me his install in his accord wagon, with a 7" screen molded into his dash. Nice work I must admit. The one thing that REALLY caught my eyes, is that he made this little box with RCA output, that has an image "programmed" into it. Like, when he turns on the car, the screen would turn on, and instead of having the "No Signal" screen pop up like for us Farenheit users when we have nothing in the input, his screen would power up, and show a simple image of the Honda "H" logo on the screen. Was designing something like this extremely hard?

I couldn't figure out how to go about doing this, I always wanted to have like the nissan burger pop up when the car and screen turns on, but couldnt figure it out using my PS2, other then writing a DVD-R with the nissan logo off my computer, but then I'd have to manually turn on my PS2 and select the image. I WANT AUTOMATION!! haha...

So what does it take to build this little box with a chip that outputs the image of the Nissan burger to my 7" screen, or if this is even possible...

To do this you have to check the features of your headunit. I have an Eclipse unit which accepts a memory stick. I can download to the memory stick then upload onto my HU. I would suggest you see how this would apply to your specific equipment. The big picture (excuse pun) is that you download the Nissan burger to a memory stick, SD card etc, then upload to your unit. Hope this helps!!
