i would avoid using jense to be honest, even though its the better of hte crap brands, i think you can do better interms of overal lquality and reliability with a more mainstream brand...

just my two bits

While it looks flashy, the Jenses unit just isn't going to give you the quality you are looking for. Don't waste your money- save up some more and buy into a reputable brand.

I used to have one of the Jensens and it was awesome. Worked flawlessly and looked just as good as any other screen out there.

It's amazing how radio equipment, when installed in the Z, measures up to every brand out there, no matter what kind of crap it's made of.

It wasn't in my Z, it was in an F-150. It wasn't a bad unit. I am not an audiophile though, I just like cool things at good prices. How good was it? It sounded just like my $400 Alpine I had before, the video was crisp and clear, the screen went in and out several times a day for several years.

no one will ever say jensen is a sure bet to break...hell if it was like that, they would be out of buienss a long time ago.

but...generally, they use inferior parts, have less R and D, poor user interface, and quite a bit less SQ output than a more mainstream brand.

that is not to say people will not get a jensen and be happyt, but, IMO, its better to start with a high quality brand...

sorta like performance, can you get an APC part that works okay and lasts for years? sure, but do you want to have it on your car? well, thats your decision hehe

I just didn't want to spend a lot on it and the Jensen was over 50% cheaper than ANYTHING else on the market back then.
