Im new and i tried searching im sure this has been asked before but


I dont want to have to alter my interior any for a new system i jsut want a lil more bass

Can i just swap out the bose 10" in my Z and the factory amp for a JL 10 or alpine ect

and just put it a better amp?

 

Yes, you need to replace the sub, amp, and wiring. You can't run a bigger amp off of the wires that the Bose amp uses.

I was trying this out but I gave up, but what you need to do is seal the space off inside there and get a free air sub. I don't know how it will sound but everyone here will say it sounds horrible. I just think it's funny how 99% of the people will say it sounds like crap when only 1% of the people on here have ACTUALLY done this and heard it.

 

now you have to re run the wires from the headunit for the new amp right?
