FI Q10 sub... question(s)
Hey all,
Ok I'm new to this... But I'm learning... I need a lil help from my fellow Zers.
I own an 07 with the Bose system and am wanting to upgrade it... I have searched the forum keeping in mind that I didn't want to go ridiculously expensive....
So I have decided that I want to go with two FI Q 10" subs... each pumps out 1000 RMS ... unless you think one would be sufficient... they come in either 1 ohm or 2 ohm.
Do you think a Rockford Fosgate T5001BD would be a good amp to match? If so, how many I get would depend on whether I get one sub or two correct?
I have a pioneer avic-d3 as a HU.
What front speakers would you suggest and do you think a Zenclosure box would be necessary??
Sorry for being such a novice but thank you for your help!!

The front speakers, I would suggest comp's in some type of speaker pod or in the kicks. The type of speaker and using pods would depend on your budget.
I am using the Zenclosure from Mike,,,and I love it. Again,,depends on what you are trying to accomplish. Wickedcas makes the "glass" boxes for the factory location,,,I think Wickedcas and Zenclosure both make corner boxes. It really depends on what type of space you are trying to save and what type of sound you are trying to achieve.
As for the Amp,,,if you can,,,post the specs of the amp,,,that will help everyone see what you are working with.
I hope this helps and good luck!
