I picked up an 03 Track about a week ago, and already hate the factory system.

First of all, the left side is shorted. Left side front and rear will occasionally kick on, but most the time stay off. I am dropping the car off at the dealer Monday, and this is one of the things getting fixed.

Second, I have an aftermarket deck I took out of my Audi when I sold it, Pioneer Premier, great deck I love it. I want to put it in the Z asap because I hate not having my Ipod in the car with me. I want to upgrade the front speakers, and really dont want to go component, because well, I'm an A1C haha, I don't make THAT much. I've been looking at speakers and found these ( http://www.millionbuy.com/inf6012si.html ) on million buy. I know there are spacing problems, and noticed these are a "slim" design. Anybody know if I'm gonna run into clearance problems here? Should I just go ahead and buy spacers just incase?

I really don't want to buy an amp for the front speakers, because I hate wiring it all up. That and I don't want to spend the cash on a new amp. I am going to order a dash kit and wiring harness for the Z here shortly, and next weekend I plan to install all of my stuff. The deck install on the Audi was a pita, should I expect that out of the Z? There didnt look like any key holes for the factory deck, so will I have to pull the dash apart?
