Default New head unit with stock navi

I have the BOSE system and stock navigation.

Question: I just purchased a new stereo system ; head unit, sub, components, and amp. I was told by my install guy that if I put an aftermarket HU in I will loose the audio functionality of my navigation. He said that the navi will still function correctly, however the turn-by-turn directions will not play through the speakers anymore. Is this true? If so anyway to bypass this so I still get audio. BOSE SUCKS!!!!!!

that is NOT true...do a search on nav voice, i hvae made quite a few posts on how to do this, there are at least two methods to do this depending on what you install, i have personally done over 20 of this in Zs and Gs.

Ive done some searching, and the only information that I have found, involves adding a seperate speaker. Is there anyway to do this using the existing speakers? (one or all of them)
