where do you guys mount your radar? Im about to buy Valentine one and i was just curious where you guys mount your radar.

 

i put it right above the oil pressure gauge on the windsheild. But i have a power adapter running from the back to right next to the shifter.... so thats where i plug it it

 

Well since I usually cant hear mine(music/exhaust) I mounted mine infront of the speedometer gauge on the windshield so it would be easy to see. I also have an 05 with the plug in the passenger side so it makes it easier.

 

I have mine just to the left of the mirror.

 

If you want a truly stealth install. I believe acree was placing the displays right into the rearview mirror and placing the power box somewhere hidden. His work is truly amazing.

You will want to mount it high. I would recommend using the visor clip to go in between the headliner and roof... or just use the normal suction cups to mount as high as possible.

 

I am using the basic suction cups,,,,and have it mounted right below my rearview mirror. I have it hard wired under the headliner, down pass. A pillow, under dash to pass cig lighter. Although, I am using the Bel RX65.
