This is a question for all of you with your component speakers in the stock location without pods or kicks. How is the sound quality for you? my mids in the stock location do sound a bit muffled but increasing the midbass setting on my deck seems to remedy it. well those who've heard both please add your input. thx.

the sound muffled because the oem grill is not very open. do a search, there is a DIY mod to open up the grill which will help out a lot.

 

With the grill open it's much better.

 

yes i've also just tried listening to my sound system with the front girlls off and it's MUCH MUCH BETTER. it's crazy i'll probably have to do the cloth grill mod now.
