Stroker or Wild Beast

FYI, I tired the search and found too much of nothing so I am starting a new thread.
I'm in the process of adding subs to my Z. What's your opinion between the 2 subs. I'm thinking of either 1 CV Stroker (10") or 2 Cadence Wild Beast (10"). It's cheaper with the Wild Beast, but prefer the RMS handle of the Stroker.
Stroker is 2000 wt rms and 4000 wt max, dual 4 ohms
Wild Beast is 600 wt rms and 1200 wt max, single 4 ohms
I currently have a Memphis 1000d pushing about 1200 wt max with 1 ohm stable. Thinking about upgrading to something more powerful. Please let me know. Thanks.

Saying "1200 wt max with 1 ohm stable" is a little misleading. I think you meant to say the RMS power.......
Memphis 1000d RMS Power: 4 Ohm 300X1, 2 Ohm 600X1, 1 Ohm 1100X1
The CV Stroker subs are very nice, especially the Pro. A lot of people discredit Cerwin Vega these days, or they've forgotten all about them. Most of the younger crowd doesn't even know who they are!
Anyway. The Cadence sub is not in the same league as the Stroker. CV is only employing the same revolutionary, successful design from years gone by in the Stroker Pro model though. You are talking about the non-Pro model (since the pro doesn't come in a 10"). Get a dual 2 Ohm Stroker and post pics when done with your install.

I just don't want to pay for a more popular brand. Should I ditch the Memphis amp and get something like Kicker 1200x1? Not doing competition, but just want something like a monkey in my trunk.
I don't know how to tune it. If it's going to be ported, then it will have to be a customized build. Again, was thinking about fitting it in the zenclosure. BTW, where can I get it at a reputable place for under $200?

OP, PM Mike from Zenclosures and ask what it would take to get a custom box made up, and even ported by him if possible.

Guys I gotta tell you, and I hate sounding like a broken record, but these FI 10" subs I installed are the best I've ever heard.....period. I have had several subs of all different types and sizes and FI wins hands down!(and NO I don't work for them, LOL) These blow every pair of 12's away I've ever owned for SQ at a unbelievable volume levels. I like my rock LOUD! I have Kicker 2500.1 amp powering these and it is only at 1/2 gain and it is way way way more than loud enough!
I'm very happy as you can tell.......consider them, buy them, then you'll owe me!
