I tried to hard wire detector myself to the homelink connector behind the rear view mirror. I got it working but then something went out. I had no more display at all, and no more lights on my tach, speed, gaz.... None of my speed, rpm and other needles would move. Nothing. So i checked the fuses and sure enough, one of them was burned, so i changed it and now it is working again. But i dont want to have to change my fuse again. So i am wondering if someone could tell me exactly to hard wire it.
