So i just finished installing the Eclipse AVN5510 (looks awesome by the way)...and i wired the parking brake wire to the ground wire of the cigarette lighter because everyone says that grounding the parking brake wire should let me watch dvds while my car is in motion. I have done this, and the video feed still isn't coming out. The sound is coming out fine, but no video feed. Any help would be appreciated. Oh and if it helps at all, i have the 07 w/o bose...

 

Best bet, go ask a audio store. They'll charge you like 35 bux to do it (AudioCity price for grounding my friends)

 

Ground it to another location, I did this on my 5435--should work.

 

i'd take it to an audio store, but i just don't want to spend money on something so small...especially since i did all the other parts of the install myself...thanks for the info randy, i'll try grounding it directly to my chasis and see if that helps out...i'll let you know if it does...
