Viper alarm? how good is factory "alarm"
What feature does the factory alarm system have? as far as i can tell, it is nothing more then a key-less entry system. does it have ignition kill?
i got a good deal on a Viper 350 HV aftermarket alarm. Has anyone had it installed on their Z and how is it? Does it have window power kill? tilt sensor? Should i get it or should i go for something with more features? What can i get for about 200~300 bucks?
thanks..

Tilt sensor is an additional piece you must add on to alarms. I am not sure if you can add it to that alarm or not (must have external shock sensor to do so)
The factory alarm does have starter kill (must have key to start vehicle... chip inside key)
Usually installation cost is included in the price of an alarm. Viper 350 would have the basics:
starterd kill
shock sensor
keyless entry,
trunk pop
door triggers
maybe domelight supervision
Should do the trick though.
