Heres the deal, Ive had my pioneer avic n1 installed into my 04 z for about a month now. Today, i just decided to do the bypass (ground the parking brake wire) so you can watch movies/use the navi while driving. For some odd reason, my parking lights no longer work anymore. I checked all the fuses under the dash, the hood, and double checked the wiring for my headunit and everything was fine. Anyone know what the problem could be?

 

Un-do your by-pass and see if the lights return as you may have tapped into the wrong wire ... which is a really hard thing to do.

While you're under there take a look at the wiring to the emergency flasher button which is really difficult to screw up (un-plug) but can be done.
